The objective of KCAS is to offer qualified professional pilots an opportunity to work under contract for 3 to 5 years.

In addition to the terms of a contract between the applicant and KCAS, a pilot will also adhere to the rules and regulations of the company policy manual.

KCAS will handle all aspects of payroll for the employee-pilots including wages and benefits such as medical and basic life insurance and a managed 401(k) plan or similar suitable programs. Other issues such as sick leave, travel and housing will be addressed in concert with policies of the Chinese airline. Depending on our negotiations with Air China and Shenzhen Airlines, average monthly package for all cockpit positions will be at internationally competitive levels based on type of aircraft .

  • Applicants must hold a current and valid JAA / FAA / ICAO ATPL.
  • Applicants must hold current and valid type rating.
  • Applicants must hold a Class 1 medical certificate issued by a JAA / FAA ICAO member state.
  • No record of flight accident. No criminal record.

B747-400 Captains

  • 2000 hours captain experienced on wide body aircraft (B747, A300/310, A330/340, MD11), or Boeing glass cockpit, or
  • minimum3000 hours captain experience on larger jet aircraft (B737, A320, MD80)
  • 7000 hours total airtime
  • Age 58 or under upon completion of contract with current B747-400 type rating or
  • Age 55 or under without B747-400 type rating

B747-400 First Officers

  • 2000 hours on larger jet aircraft or heavy propjet (min 20t.)
  • 500 hours turbojet time
  • 3000 hours total air time
  • Age 58 or under upon completion of contract with current B747-400 type rating or
  • Age 55 or under without B747-400 type rating.

A319/320/321 Captain

  • Minimum hours Total: 3000
  • Minimum hours on Type: 500
  • Only type-rated pilots may apply.

B737-NG/EFIS Captain

  • Minimum hours Total: 4000
  • Minimum PIC hours on Type: 500
  • Only type-rated pilots may apply.

MD11F Captain

  • Minimum hours Total: 5000
  • Minimum PIC hours Total: 2000
  • Minimum PIC hours on Type: 1000
  • Only type-rated pilots may apply.
